Trinity University JUPEB Admission Form For 2022/2023 Academic Session

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Trinity University, Yaba, Lagos, Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) Programme for the 2022/2023 academic session. Trinity University JUPEB Admission Requirements

Candidates seeking admission must possess five (5) ordinary level credit passes in relevant subjects including English Language. Renaissance University (RNU) JUPEB Admission Form for 2022/2023 Academic Session

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the JUPEB programme of Renaissance University. This programme is designed to prepare candidates seeking Direct Entry admission into 200 Level undergraduate programme of Renaissance University.

The Programme leads to the award of the JUPEB Certificate which enables successful candidates, after the examinations administered by JUPEB to gain Direct Entry admissions into 200 levels of the Degree of Renaissance University.

RNU JUPEB Eligibility

Eligible candidates must possess a minimum of 5 Credits at a maximum of two sittings in at least 5 subjects relevant to the candidates desired course (English and Mathematics included).

University of Benin(UNIBEN) JUPEB Admission Form 2022/2023 Academic Session

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the University of Benin (UNIBEN) Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) Programme for the 2022/2023 Session.

About UNIBEN JUPEB Programme

The Programme leads to the award of the Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) Certificate which enables candidates to gain Direct Entry Admission into 200 level of the degrees offered by the University of Benin and other JUPEB – affiliated Universities in Nigeria and universities abroad. The JUPEB Certificate is equivalent to the Advance Level GCE or the Old Higher School Certificate (HSC) or IJMB.

Each candidate admitted into the programme will be exposed to intensive academic work in three subject combinations relevant to their desired field of study. The subjects are broken into four courses labelled 001, 002, 003 & 004 with each candidate taking six courses per semester, making a total of twelve courses at the end of the programme. Also, candidates will take at least two general studies courses (one per semester). Each course will be examined at the end of each semester, but the results in all the courses taken will be merged at the end of the second semester to obtain a letter grade in each subject (i.e. A, B, C, D, E & F). The general studies to be chosen by each candidate will be based on general courses relevant to the field of study.

For admission into the University of Benin and other JUPEB affiliate institutions, each candidate, in addition to passing the prescribed JUPEB examination for issuing the Direct Entry Certificates, must satisfy all admission requirements prescribed by departments and faculties of choice.

UNIBEN JUBEB Admission Requirements, Subject Combinations & Duration

Admission Requirements:

Candidates seeking admission into the JUBEB Foundation Programmes must possess a minimum of 5 credit passes in at least five (5) subjects at “O” Level, including English language and Mathematics at not more than 2 sittings in the GCE, SSCE (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB).

All the combinations shown in the table below meet the entry requirements for direct admission into Degree Programmes in the University of Benin and other JUPEB affiliate Universities, including OAU, UNILAG, UNN, UNIYO, FUTA, FUNAAB, UNIPORT etc.

Face to face contact at the University of Benin or other designated venues. Lectures will be conducted from 8 am – 4 pm, Monday to Friday.

Interested candidates are to purchase UNIBEN JUPEB application forms online from the university website with valid VERVE VISA OR MASTERCARD ATM BANK CARD from any commercial bank in Nigeria for the non-refundable application fee of fifteen thousand naira (N15,000.00) The fee excludes bank charges.

The application form must be correctly filled with all information required before submitting online and thereafter printed out.

Click on REGISTER FOR APPLICATION and fill out the application after reading the instructions on the page.

Upload a recent coloured passport size photograph (scanned, not more than 3 months old passport) with a red background. Webcam photograph is not acceptable.

Submit the online application form and print out a copy of the examination schedule slip which should have your user name and password.

All candidates are required to use valid e-mail addresses and telephone numbers.


Fill your Bio-Data correctly as no complaint about wrong bio-data will be entertained after submission.

Candidates who upload wrong bio-data will be disqualified and forfeit application fee.

Only coloured print out will be accepted.

Print at least 4 copies of the University of Benin online registration form with a complete passport-sized photograph printed in colour.

Candidates are to follow the application instructions very carefully and ensure they select the subject combinations relevant to their course of study.

CLOSING DATE: The application website closes by midnight on Tuesday 30th August 2022. Candidates who pay after the deadline will not sit for the examination.

ENTRANCE EXAMINATION: Admission into various programmes shall be through an entrance examination to be conducted on Saturday 3rd of September 2022 by 9 am at the Ugbowo campus of the University.

Moshood Abiola Polytechnic Abeokuta Adjust Academic Calendar, Shifts 1st Semester Exams

The Academic Board of  Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta has postponed the first semester examination for the 21/22 academic session till Monday, 16th May, 2022.

Similarly, the Board has extended the deadline for the payment of tuition and registrations till Friday, 6th May, 2022 for all categories of students.

Meanwhile, a week preparation and course revision for all students will run from Monday, 9th to Saturday, 14th May, 2022.

This is an indication for any student, who is yet to complete his/her registration ahead of the examination to do so before the deadline.

Management, therefore, urges students to remain focused towards achieving their primary goals in the Polytechnic.

Mapoly Student Union Election To Hold April 21st, Mgt Declares Lecture Free Day


Academic Board of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta has approved Thursday, 21st April, 2022 as the date for 2021/2022 academic session's Students' Union Election.

By this development, Management has declared tomorrow, Thursday, 21st April, 2022 lecture-free day for all categories of students. 

The election will hold at the ICT courtyard of the Institution beginning from 10:00am.

Only Full-Time National Diploma and Higher National Diploma Returning (i.e NDII and HNDII) Students, who have thier Union due receipts, are eligible to partake in the election exercise.


Any student or individual, who does not have business with the election are advised to stay clear of campus to avoid security sanctions.

Enugu State University of Technology Alumni Leadership Assures Cooperation With New Varsity Management

The national president of ESUT Alumni association, Engr. Larry Mbah has assured of the association’s strong support to ensure that the newly appointed ESUT Management excelled.

Speaking when he led other national and state exco members of ESUT Alumni on courtesy call on the new  Vice Chancellor- Prof Aloysius Michael N. Okolie. 

Engr. Mbah said they came to rejoice with the VC, wish him well and assure him of their ready support towards the realization of set objectives that will guarantee greater good and growth of their Alma Mater.

The President was accompanied on the visit by his Deputy who incidentally is the new Registrar ESUT, Mr Ambrose Ugwu and the Enugu State branch Alumni Chairman, Mr Sabinus Obasi. 

Other members of the team include, Okechukwu Oketa; Port Harcourt branch Chairman and Obinna Ogbodo- the Alumni Relations Officer. In his response, the Vice Chancellor, Prof Aloysius Okolie thanked the visitors for their genuine concern and words of encouragement stating that some of the major focus of his administration would centre on launching and retaining ESUT on the global visibility map of competitiveness and of course welfare of workers. 

The VC  used the occasion to call for support and cooperation of Alumni and other stake holders to enable the new management to succeed.

Ekiti State University of Technology To Partner Private Sector In Boosting Institute For Peace, Conflict, Development Studies

The Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT), says plans are afoot to partner the private sector organizations in boosting operations of the Institute for peace, Conflict and Development Studies (IPCDS) domiciled in the school.

It posited that no nation, whether developed or developing such as Nigeria can record any meaningful feat in an atmosphere of crisis and Insecurity as presently being witnessed in Nigeria.

Vice Chancellor (VC) of the University, professor Aloysius Okolie, stated this Weekend while speaking in Enugu during the Orientation exercise for the 2021/2022 Academic Session of new Course participants/ Students of the IPCDS.

The newly appointed VC, who applauded the Director of the Institute, professor Felix Asogwa, on the manner he has been piloting affairs of the Centre since inception, also expressed dissatisfaction on the issue of inconsistency in organizing convocations in the University.

Professor Okolie, disclosed that (ESUT)under his watch would soon embarked on aggressive marketing of IPCD$ as well as seek partnership with the private sector with a view to strengthening its operations.

The (VC), who equally advised the students, including post graduate to brace up to the challenges and take their studies very seriously, warned that henceforth, his administration will not sign the certificates of students with less than 75 percent attendance.

Our Correspondent reports that before the remark of the Vice Chancellor, the Administration officer of the institute, Mr. Chiedozie Nwafor, had read out to the Students the history and information about the Institute which commenced operation in 2019.

Professor Okolie, also hinted that henceforth, all the activities of IPCDS, departments, Directorate, among others, must be uploaded to enable the world know about the university and what it offers.

He expressed dismay that ESUT, held its last convocation in 2017, leading to present back log of unsigned Certificates numbering over 20, 000, assuring that he would work hard and ensure that the narrative changes, but in terms of holding regular convocations when a new Chancellor is appointed.

Earlier, in his speech, Director of the Institute Professor Felix Asogwa had promised the students that the institute will do its best to ensure that committed students graduate in specified Nigeria University Commission (NUC) record time of Master Degrees,18 months and PhD, 3 years respectively.

He informed the students that the school started in Accra Ghana, via the initiative of the West African Network for peace building (WANEP), a leading regional peace building organization founded in 1988 in response to Civil wars that plagued West Africa in the 1990s.

The Director, said though other universities in South East Nigeria and elsewhere had struggled to host the regional institute, but ESUTH was lucky to be awarded the host school.

According to professor Asogwa, PCDS of ESUT is a multi – disciplinary, research based establishment designed for capacity building for those involved in peace building and development.

The Director noted that as a multi- disciplinary field of study and practice, it stands to serve Nigeria and Africa by equipping practitioners, scholars, students and Stakeholders with requisite intellectual and research skills.

Professor added that fundamentally, the institute offers Msc Degree in peace and conflict Studies, Msc in peace and conflict Management (MPCM), Executive as well as Doctor of Philosophy PhD in in peace and conflict Studies.

He further informed the students that peace is so important in every human endeavor and reminded them that having gained admission into the institute, they have joined promoters of peace and development, stressing that the institute has many professors and qualified lecturers.

The Director however, urged Nigerians to always use dialogue and other peaceful means to resolve conflicts for development to strive in all spheres of human endeavors.

Enugu State University of Technology Announces Resumption Of Sandwich Program And Sale of Admission Form

This is to inform all continuing students of ESUT Institute of Education Sandwich Programme and the General public that the 2021/2022 academic year of the institute will commence from 15th April, 2022. 

Therefore online application forms for admission into the 2021/2022 ESUT Sandwich degree and postgraduate programmes are now on sale until May 8, 2022. 

The forms can be obtained at the cost of N5,000.00 for first degrees (B.Ed, B.Sc) and N11,500.00 for postgraduate programmes (PGD, M.Ed and M.Sc) respectively after generating invoice from ESUT Portal and payment through any commercial bank in Nigeria.


School fees for the programmes are very affordable at N36,200.00 only per session for 1st degrees and N61,900.00 only per session for postgraduate programmes.


For First Degree Programmes. Candidates with five “O” level credits including English Language and Mathematics obtained at not more than two sittings in any of NECO, WASC, SSCE, GCE and NABTEB are eligible.

For Post Graduate programmes, candidates should in addition to having 1st degree in requisite fields meet the first degree requirements as well. However, for candidates that obtained their 1st degrees before 2007, their “O” level credits in five subjects should include English Language or Mathematics.
