Foundation College of Technology Ikot Ekpene Resumption Dates For Rain Semester 2019/2020 Session

This is to inform all staff and students that the management of Foundation College of Technology, Ikot Ekpene has approved the resumption dates for rain semester 2019/2020 session which was suspended because of COVID-19 outbreak. All academic and non-academic activities are to be organised on online platforms until further notice.

In approving the online learning method, management wishes to inform the all staff and students that the decision is to ensure that the academic year is not prolonged unnecessarily due to the ravaging corona virus pandemic. The management emphasizes that everyone should learn to cope with the new ways of doing things as no one knows when covid-19 will go away. Besides, the Minister of Education has directed tertiary institutions in Nigeria to resume academic activities using online platforms.

The year 2 students will resume lectures on Monday, 17th August 2020. The year 1 students will resume lectures on Monday, 24th August 2020. The lectures will be delivered through live online lessons by our team of dedicated lecturers and instructors. All students are expected to join these live classes online, with relevant textbooks, lecture notes, notebooks, pen, pencil, ruler, eraser, and other necessary learning tools. Lecture time table will be published on the institution’s website.

All students are requested to send the following information to the ICT unit of the institution through email: ict@foundationpoly.com.ng  on or before Friday, 31st July 2020.

On receipt of the information, accounts will be created for the students to enable them have access to the learning portal. Once the account is created, they will receive email stating their log in details for the classes.
