Igbinedion University New Registrar Calls For Maximum Cooperation From Staff

The newly appointed Registrar of the University, Mr. Friday Benji Bakare has called for maximum cooperation from all members of staff of the University particularly those in the Registry Department. Mr. Bakare assured that he is a team player and will love to have all hands on deck to sustain the achievements of the University Management and also improve where necessary.


Mr. Bakare made this declaration after his unveiling by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Lawrence Ikechukwu Ezemonye Ph.D. FAS at the Senate Chambers in a brief meeting of Principal Officers, Deputy Registrars (DRs), Principal Assistant Registrars (PARs) and Senior Assistant Registrars (SARs).

The Vice-Chancellor, while presenting the new Registrar noted that there is a need for a smooth transition from the end of tenure and departure of the immediate past Registrar and the assumption of duty of the new one. While charging the new Registrar to hit the ground sprinting and to bring to bear his wealth of experience, the Vice-Chancellor enjoined all staff in the Registry Department to avail the Registrar their support and continued commitment to duty in the ultimate interest of the University.
Professor Ezemonye also seized the opportunity to commend Mr. L.P.E. Jagbedia for doing a good job as Acting Registrar since the exit of the former Registrar, Dr. Okoro.
