Applications for Screening of Credentials are hereby requested from interested applicants who wrote the 2020/2021 UTME and chose The Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti or are willing to change to the Institution as 1st choice.

ELIGIBLE APPLICANTS
(i) All applicants who chose The Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti and obtained a Minimum Acceptable Mark (MAM) of 150 in the 2020/2021 UTME

In addition to the above, applicants must possess five (5) O’ level subject requirements at Credit level in not more than two (2) sittings in SSCE, NECO, GCE and NABTEB.

(ii) Any applicant applying with NABTEB (NTC) for Courses in the School of Engineering (SOE), must in addition to the five (5) O’level in (i) above possess a core subject from the Trade Related Area (TRA), and not Book Keeping, Commerce, Principles of Accounts, or Secretariat Studies etc. While applicants applying for Business related Courses can use NABTEB (NBC). For avoidance of doubt, NABTEB Business Certificate (NBC) is not accepted in the School of Engineering.

(iii) Applicants who scored 150 and above in the last UTME but did not choose The Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti as 1st changing to the Institution can do so.

NABTEB (Technical) with any other core subject from trade related area such as Metal Work, Tractor Mechanic, Auto Mechanics and Technical Drawing.

b) Agricultural Technology

c) Civil Engineering Technology

Credit Passes in English, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, Plus any one (1) of the following: Technical Drawing, Building Drawing, Economics, Biology, Further Mathematics, Statistics, Civic Education/ Government, Computer Science/ICT, Geography, Building Construction, Block Laying, Plumbing and Pipe Fitting. OR

d) Electrical and Electronic Engineering Technology Credit Passes in English, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, Plus any one (1) of the following: Technical Drawing, Further Mathematics, Economics, Geography, Electrical Installation, Computer studies, Electrical Works, Appliances Maintenance and Repairs, Basic Electricity/ Electronics OR

National Technical Certificate (NTC) issued by NABTEB in relevant trade areas and not in Book-Keeping, Commerce, Secretarial Studies, Principles of Accounts, Data Processing/ ICT.

e) Fisheries Technology

Credit Passes in English, Mathematics, Chemistry, Plus one (1) of the following: Biology/Agricultural Science, Plus one (1) of the following: Geography, Economics, Technical Drawing, Physics.

g) Mechanical Engineering Technology

Credit Passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, Plus any one (1) of the following: Technical Drawing, Auto Mechanics, Metal work, Biology, Agricultural Science, Further Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Tractor Mechanics, Refrigeration/Air Conditioning and integrated Physical Science. ADMISSION FORM GUIDELINES

APPLY HERE

(I) Applicants should visit the Student Portal and click on applicants to generate and print application payment invoice.

(ii) Upon printing of invoice, applicants can proceed to any bank of their choice along side the invoice generated and make payment of ₦2, 000.00 on the Remita Platform.

(iii) Applicants can also make payment with their debit card (Master Card, Visa Card and Verve Card) following the instructions on the invoice generation page. (Note: before payment with debit card, print your Invoice)

(iv) After payment, applicants should revisit the School Portal and fill their screening forms using the RRR number on the payment invoice (slip). The invoice and the RRR must be in the applicant’s name.

(v) Applicants should endeavour to print their acknowledgement slip and screening forms.
