Our Plan For Ahmadu Bello University In The Next 50 Years - Vice-Chancellor

The current administration in Ahmadu Bello University is making frantic effort to work out a comprehensive development plan for use in the University for the next 50 years, Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Kabir Bala, said. 

Prof. Bala, who spoke when staff members of the Department of Building paid him a courtesy visit to felicitate with him over his appointment as Vice-Chancellor of the premier institution, said the 50-year plan for the University by its founding fathers ended with the golden jubilee celebration in 2012.

The Vice-Chancellor also said the University administration was working round-the-clock to evolve a workable strategic plan for the institution, build additional students hostels, encourage academic staff to access research grants, launch an endowment fund for the University as well as develop more sources of revenue to finance capital projects.
