Philanthropist Donates Covid-19 Control Facility To Alex Ekwueme Federal University

 

As support and in appreciation of the good work of the amiable Vice-Chancellor, Alex Ekwueme Federal University Ndufu-Alike, Ebonyi State, Professor Chinedum Nwajiuba, a philanthropist, led by one of the University staff, Mrs Enene Fonne visited VC today, 26th August 2020, to make donation of a Silky Hand Washer Machine, to the University, in support of COVID-19 prevention protocols in the University.

While introducing the donor, Emeka Akachukwu, Managing Director, HANSKING Group, to the Vice-Chancellor, leader of the delegation Mrs Fonne noted that he (Emeka Akachukwu) is a lover of AE-FUNAI Women Association (AE-FUNA WA), and has previously donated some clothing and bottled water to the women during one of their programmes. She equally mentioned that AE-FUNAI OUT LOOK was not left out in his donations as he had shown gratification by donating water cooling equipment to them.

Receiving the gift, VC thanked the team for their show of love and said that the University would be getting more of the machines from them to be strategically placed at the Health Centre and Faculties as measure for prevention of spread of COVID-19 in the campus. The machine is specially built with soap water washing, clean water rinsing and hand sanitizer compartments.
