LASPOTECH School Resumption Update

Management Committee at its emergency meeting held on Wednesday, September 9,2020 was brief by the Ag. Rector about the fallout of the zoom meeting held by the State Governor, Mr Babajide Olushola Sanwo Olu with the stakeholders of the Education Sector Lagos State on Wednesday, September 9, 2020.

According to the Ag. Rector, the State Government has approved the re opening of schools in the state will effect from Monday September 14, 2020 with strict adherence to COVID-19  precautionary protocols, falling which defaulters shall be made to face stringent disciplinary measures as the governor is very passionate about ensuring that the measures put in place to safeguard the state is not frustrated.

To this end, the State Governor has approved a staggered resumption plan for the Polytechnic, as presented below:

i. Monday, September 14,2020- HND I & HND II

Classes: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays

Time: 9am-2pm

ii. Monday, September 21,2020-ND I

Classes: Tuesdays and Thursdays

Time: 9am-2pm

iii. Monday,October 5, 2020-ND II

To conclude examination on resumption;

iv.  Mode of lecture

The committee noted the information from the Ag.Rector that the mode of lectures for now, shall be one hour contact and one hour online lecture.
