The Management of Al-Qalam University Katsina has received donation of Covid-19 Safety Materials from the National Association of Katsina State Students Union (NAKATSS) of the University.
The President of the Association, Umar Usman presented the donation to the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Shehu G. Ado on Tuesday 19th January, 2021.
Accompanied by members of the Executive of the Association, Umar Usman said the initiative is to assist the Management in protecting the University Community against the Covid-19 pandemic.
The safety materials donated were Face Masks and Hand Sanitizers which the President of the Association explained that they were bought from contributions received from spirited members of the Association. Speaking after receiving the donation, Prof. Shehu G. Ado appreciated the gesture and zeal shown by the students in supporting the fight against the deadly virus, urging them to continue with the good effort.
